It’s that time of the year again for the Miami Ultras to vote on who they think deserves the most coveted player of the year award. Starting back in 2008 the Ultras have given an award from the fans to the Miami FC/Strikers player that they felt was the best.
The criteria for who the best is totally up to you. It could the player who improved the most, or who scored the most goals, or maybe the best leader on and off the field. Possibly your vote goes to the player that bonded with the fans by goal celebrations or chilling at the post game tailgates. How you make your decision is on you.
In 2008 we gave the award to the goal scoring machine Alex “The Fonz” Alfonso, in 2009 defensive stalwart and recently retired Zach “Beowulf” Kirby proudly took the award home and in 2010 we handed over the honor to midfield maestro Christian Gomez. Who will it be this year? It’s your turn to vote. Do it now!
